Our RealSeat is a wider-than-your-behind comfort seat for bicycles unlike any other that will cradle and caress your bottom perched a top a soft and flexible seat cover allowing you to ride bike free of pain and discomfort.
All RealSeat frames and mounts are made with aircraft grade 6061 aluminum.
To make our fabulous seat a solid and robust frame is a must. And we accomplish this by welding together (1) machine bent 1" diameter tube with a 3/16" wall, (2) CNC machined 1/2" diameter support tubes with 1/8" wall, and (2) laser-cut 1/4" plate radial brackets.
The finished seat frame is then mated with bolt hardware to (1) CNC machined seat mount that will serve both as a mount to the radial brackets on the seat frame and a clamp to a traditional seat post shaft on a bicycle.
Lastly, a fully-assembled RealSeat comes complete with (1) custom designed 600 denier seat cover that is fitted onto and tightened around the U-shaped seat frame via a belt mechanism hidden on seat covers bottom. The finished seat cover includes (3) durable neoprene-like, non-slip strips sewn to top of sitting surface and (2) cloth reflectors sewn to rear flaps.
